The HD picture is bright and clear, surprisingly good for a TV this small. The black levels are better than I expected too much. ratio of the screen is a bit 'strange - it's 16:10 (not 16:9). The screen is matte / anti-glare. The body has a soft and chewy.
The QAM digital TV tuner in it is capable, and I found that stores and recalls the Over-The-Air (OTE) channel map and map of the cable channel that is part of a really handy. Can I have it connected to the cable TWCdirectly from the wall and watch all my local QAM "HD" cable channels and analog cable channels, then when I take them down to the garage and connect it to my UHF / VHF antenna on the roof of lead, I just go in the menu channels and change the setting from cable to antenna AIR and the previously stored channel map OTA becomes available. When I bring her back home and reconnect the cable from the wall, go into the menu and go back to the same cable and all my QAM channelsbecome available. If you switch sources on virtually all other small and large LCD and plasma is necessary to re-scan for channels every time you change sources and that takes a few minutes. But with this TV is made with a simple antenna quick mode settings change. To set both tuner mode, connect it to a good antenna, put the television into AIR mode and run a scan for OTA channels. Then for the TV cable, plug the power cord from the wall, put the TV in cable mode and run ascanning for cable channels.
The Channel menu has a Show / Hide environment where you can select or deselect any of the OTA or cable channels that have been analyzed in tuner.
You can directly enter the actual channel number using the numeric keys and the hyphen (-) button on the remote that will take you directly to that channel (7.1 or 4.2 for example). Do not press the Enter key after, that does not work for channel changing.
I can disable any unwantedchannels from the list of "Favorites" by unchecking the sub-menu configuration and the TV does not give them when I'm hitting the keys CH + / CH-keys, but if you enter the number of direct channel on the TV remote control will tune to that channel "disabled".
The Picture Settings menu does not have a color temperature setting, but I discovered hidden in the Options menu, so do not be alarmed. It gives you the choice of Cool, Normal or Warm. Normal looks better to me.
The remote is a nicefull-featured unit with real buttons, and requires two AAA batteries. Many other small LCD televisions have a cheap flat rate credit card in which the membrane remote crack "buttons" over time. It has a Zoom button that gives you the choice of full or normal. Both modes are available for all channels so you can always choose the correct aspect ratio for SD and HD programming. See the image of the remote control to display all the keys in their possession.
The signal meter antenna is very simple and is shown togetherwith various other info when you press the INFO button on the remote. It does not have a numeric range, or any kind of bar strength - the only thing that gives is good or bad, or NORMAL. When the reception of a station is normal, there is some macroblocking and freezing of the digital screen and then right label should have instead.
It has a built-in fold-out tripod stand with two settings lean-back, and it is also quite a removable tilt-adjustable stand-oval pedestal base that snapson the back of the TV.
It comes with a special adapter cable audio / video with the male yellow / red / white RCA jacks on one side, and a 3.5 mm male / V pin on the other end of the stick grip on TV A / V input ( This cable is not listed as included in the product details on the various sites so it was a nice surprise to find in the box).

Cons:
Screen aspect ratiois actually 16:10, not 16:09 like a normal widescreen TV. Round things look a bit 'oval, and the people look a bit' thinner than they actually are (compared to how they normally look different on my LCD TV and Plasma 16:9). A little 'annoying.
It has no bass or treble settings in the audio, but the tone is decent and acceptable for a small TV like this.
While I can not get skin tones looking completely accurate, they are close enough to display random andlook horrible or anything. Several channels closer look than others.
The basic analog cable channels do not look very good, but that's to be expected on a LCD TV. But the SD programming on digital channels looks pretty good. HD looks great, though, except for one thing ..... 16:10
There is no VESA mounting holes on the back or any other way to attach a wall mount this TV.
The included antenna is pretty useless unlessvery close to broadcast towers, so do not expect much out of it. I'm 29 miles from the towers on Mt. Wilson and the antenna can not get something - and I can see the towers on the mountain. This TV needs to be connected to cable or a good indoor antenna or a roof. Some of the digital channels here in Los Angeles on VHF, but most are UHF. The TV receives a perfect signal from my antenna on the roof on all channels.
Be very careful when removing the transparent plastic film covering the screen. It's a bit 'hidden under the edge of the bezel and if you just pull out (as I did), leaving a pile of small pieces of film stuck around the edges of the screen. I had to choose very carefully a few dozen pieces out with my needle-forceps.

great little TV - gemhead -
I bought this product to display the information of the channel when I listen to music channels on my DISH Network. I wanted something small enough to be unobtrusive, but big enough to read from across the room. This room is only for music, but with hundreds of channels, you need some way to know where you are. This unit fills the bill. It looks very nice, and I can also see time in the morning. In reality, the picture quality is very good as is the color. It has all the control of a personcould want and is lightweight and easily movable. I am delighted with it, and when I got time, I have more reason to be pleased. However, the speakers are very small and the volume is limited. If you are right in front of it, as one might see a show, it will probably be all right. Across the room, I need to turn on the stereo to listen to everything.
Very good portable TV - Roberto -
Bought this TV for use during the summer months, the patio to watch the news, although the morning coffee or eat meals. We do not watch any other programming on this TV. This is a very small portable TV that meets our needs and should not be used as a PC monitor or other hi-res applications.
The TV is easy to configure and has all the accessories that you would need. The picture is beautiful, and the HD programming looks great - for a 10-inch screen.
The only problem was experiencedreceiving channel. We live south of Hartford (CT), about 25 miles and the TV could not close a station. I knew it was a problem with the antenna and the TV. I bought a Terk amplified antenna, replaced the telescopic antenna supplied cheap and receiving jumped to more than 20 channels! Although, we just have to watch a news station, I could not get it until I got the Terk.
The unique for us is the speaker of the TV. It 's a tiny speaker so small it fits in the case - sothe sound quality and volume are very limited. A couple of times had to turn the volume up to 100% to hear the talking heads because of other external environmental noise.
I would have given this TV 4.5 out of five if it were an option.
Haier TV - Patty Dunnington - Pueblo West, CO, US
The TV has a great film. I had to buy another antenna to get any reception at all. The sound is not great, but will do so in a small room. I can not get two local channels at all with the new antenna. It is good when connected to an antenna on the roof.
