I am very satisfied overall with this TV / DVD combo. The Picture / sound quality / volume is good. Have not used DVD feature yet. Purchased primarily for campers in the summer and use the bathroom in the winter. Of television programs automatically, even if not all of their programs and generally must be reprogrammed every time you move the TV, and when it moves back and reprogram the same location, sometimes the same channels you do not get saved automatically. The small remote control, I would produceChannel and Volume make larger or more identifiable with all the tiny buttons you have to look hard for the channel / volume buttons (the most used) that have the same size mixed in with all the other buttons on the remote. I had previously purchased a Supersonic 7 "TV / DVD combo, the image faded after a few months where you could barely make out the picture and so I returned, the 10" Viore TV combo is a much better TV.

The HD picture is bright and clear, surprisingly good for a TV this small. The black levels are better than I expected too. ratio of the screen is a bit 'strange - is 16:10 (not 16:9). The screen is matte / non-reflective. The casing has a rubbery skin soft.
The digital TV tuner is QAM capable for this, and I found that stores and recalls the Over-The-Air (OTA) channel map and the map to the cable channel that is truly at hand. Can I have the link to the TWC cabledirectly from the wall and watch all my local QAM "HD" cable channels and analog cable channels, then when I brought it down to the garage and connect it to my UHF / VHF antenna on the roof of lead, I just go into the menu channels and change the setting from cable to antenna AIR and map previously stored channels OTA then becomes available. When I bring it back home again and connect the cable from the wall, go into the menu and switch the same cable and all my QAM channelsbecome available. If you switch sources on virtually all other large and small LCD TVs Plasma must re-scan for channels every time you change sources and that takes a few minutes. But with this TV is made with a simple antenna quick mode change setting. To set both tuner mode, connect it to a good antenna to the TV Air mode and run a scan for OTA channels. Then for the TV cable, plug the power cord from the wall, put the TV in cable mode and run ascan for cable channels.
The Channel menu has a Show / Hide setting where you can select or de-select any cable or OTA channels that were acquired in the tuner.
You can directly enter the actual channel number using the numeric keys and the hyphen (-) button on the remote that takes you directly to that channel (7.1 or 4.2 for example). Do not press the Enter key after that does not work for channel changing.
I can disable any unwantedchannels from the list of "Favorites unchecking them in sub-configuration and the TV does not tune in when I'm pressing the CH + / CH-keys, but if you enter the channel number directly on the TV remote control will tune to" channel "for the disabled.
The Photo Settings menu does not have a color temperature setting, but I found hiding in the Options menu, so do not be alarmed. It gives you the choice of Cool, Normal or hot. Normal looks best for me.
The remote is a beautifulfull-featured unit with real buttons, and requires two AAA batteries. Many other small LCD televisions have a cheap flat type of credit cards remotely where the membrane buttons crack over time. It has a zoom key that gives you the choice of FULL or normal. Both modes are available for all channels so you can always select the correct aspect ratio for SD and HD programming. See the image of the remote control to see that all the keys.
The signal meter antenna is very simple and is shown alongother info other than when you press the INFO button on the remote. It has a series of numbers or any type of power bar - the only information given is good or bad or NORMAL. When a receiving station is normal, there is some freezing screen digital macroblocking so that they should instead labeled FAIR.
It has a built-in fold-out easel stand with two settings lean-back, and comes with a beautiful removable adjustable tilt stand-oval pedestal base that snapson the back of the TV.
Comes with a special cable video adapter with audio male yellow / red / white RCA jacks on one end and a / A 3.5 mm pin male connector on the other side to attack the V TV A / V input jacks (this cable is not listed as included in the product details on the various sites so it was a nice surprise to find in the box).

Wilson and the antenna can not get something - and I see the towers on the mountain. This TV must be connected to cable or a good indoor or rooftop antenna. Some of the digital channels here in Los Angeles on VHF, but most are UHF. The television receives a perfect signal from my antenna on the roof on all channels.
Be careful when you remove the transparent film of plastic covering the screen.It's kinda tucked under the edge of the cover and if you just pull out (as I did) leave a bunch of small pieces of film stuck around the edges of the screen. I had to choose very carefully a few dozen pieces out with my needle tip tweezers.

It automatically programs, broadcasters, although not all their programs and you generally need to reprogram each time you move the TV, and when you move it back to the same position and reprogram, sometimes the same channels it is automatically saved. The small remote control, which produces Imake the channel and volume buttons larger or more identifiable with tiny buttons all have to look hard for the channel / volume buttons (most used) are mixed with the same size as all the other buttons on the remote. I had previously purchased a Supersonic 7 "TV / DVD combo, the image faded after a few months where you could barely make out the image so I returned the 10" combo Vioro TV is a much better TV.

The QAM digital TV tuner in it is capable, and I found that stores and recalls the Over-The-Air (OTE) channel map and map of the cable channel that is part of a really handy. You can directly enter the actual channel number using the numeric keys and the hyphen (-) button on the remote that will take you directly to that channel (7.1 or 4.2 for example). Do not press the Enter key after, that does not work for channel changing.
I can disable any unwantedchannels from the list of "Favorites" by unchecking the sub-menu configuration and the TV does not give them when I'm hitting the keys CH + / CH-keys, but if you enter the number of direct channel on the TV remote control will tune to that channel "disabled".

Many other small LCD televisions have a cheap flat rate credit card in which the membrane remote crack "buttons" over time. It has a Zoom button that gives you the choice of full or normal. Both modes are available for all channels so you can always choose the correct aspect ratio for SD and HD programming. See the image of the remote control to display all the keys in their possession.

It does not have a numeric range, or any kind of bar strength - the only thing that gives is good or bad, or NORMAL. When the reception of a station is normal, there is some macroblocking and freezing of the digital screen and then right label should have instead.

I Coby 7 "Portable digital LCD TV as a gift for my birthday. I intend to buy
another brand but I did not want to be ungrateful and kept it.
So I left the package for 1 week. So I decided to open it. Upload and fed on it.
The reception with the internal antenna is minimal and the external antenna works great.
I live in Houston and I was surprised all the digital channels that are available without
Cable service (which I have).
PS The initial reason for buying a new portable TV was to prepare for hurricane season.
